Load Master C141's in country every month. 1967-1968 flew C130's into every little hole that had a landing strip from grass fields to cement. Air dropped supplies at Khe Sanh for days.

I entered the Navy after receiving my draft notice. Got all my papers in three days and joined the Navy, voluntering for the Seabees. What are seabees? Sent to Viet Nam, Dong Ha, Da Nang, Quan Tri & Rock Pile. Spent 2 years, 2 months and 12 days on sea duty with 2 tours in Nam. Got married between tours and still married. Two kids.

Landed a career at the US Small Business Administration shortly after the Sylmar 1971 earthquake working disaster loans.
Worked in Administration, Loan Servicing Assistant, Loan Assistant, Loan Officer, then Chief, Liquidation. In the 90’s doing more with less for so long and major functions out-sourced to other states the Los Angeles District Office downsized from 130+ employees to presently around 18-20. With all the changes it was time to go. Ended with a total of 37.6 years federal service. TBTG. 

Domiciled: Seattle, Bothell, WA., Long Beach, Ca., Redondo Beach, Hollywood, Los Angeles; Et al, Highland Park, West SF Valley then Moorpark.

2nd marriage: 9-80 – to date. Finally found my sole mate: Virginia 

Vietnam Pictures: very few and lost, NBD.

The Vietnam conflict/war sucked, and to my knowledge no one knows why we went other than the fact that some muckety muck, twit, said “Go”. WTF. It changed all our Lives ….. It’s a good thing our brothers are uniting and the AVU is advising and supporting veterans to obtain the benefits they have earned. They can call the the president of the AVU 24/7 and if you cannot reach him, leave a message ...you will get a return call. How extraordinary is that ? You can’t get that from the VA....
