Members, FYI

Due to the growing concern of the spread of the Corona Virus, the Los Angeles VA Healthcare System has imposed precautions at their many facilities.  They have directed that there be NO LARGE gatherings of people at their facilities.  
The VA has directed that ONLY Veterans with appointments should be at the VA Medical Facilities.   
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, AVU has SUSPENDED its Claim assistance to Veterans at the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center until further notice.
AVU will continue to provide claims assistance and guidance by phone and email.

The VA's Response to the Corona Virus - COVID-19

Read the VA's public health response.

Call your VA medical center before going to a clinic, urgent care, or emergency room, especially if you have symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath. Calling first helps us protect you, medical staff, and other patients. Ask your VA health care team about the option of care by phone or video instead of an in-person visit. We also ask that visitors who feel unwell postpone their visits to VA facilities.
